Hello, I'm Twinklee, the artist behind Twinkle Artistry.
A self-taught oil artist inspired by nature, quiet moments, and the beauty found in everyday life. Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a very young age, I was naturally drawn to colours, sketches, and the beauty of creating something with my own hands. What started as a childhood passion has stayed with me ever since and continues to be an important part of who I am.
The Story Behind My Art
I am largely a self-taught artist, although I spent a few months attending art classes where I learned techniques that helped shape my creative journey. Over the years, my greatest teacher has been curiosity, practice, and the joy of experimenting with every new painting.
I primarily work with oil paints, a medium I fell in love with for its rich texture, depth, and flexibility. I enjoy building my paintings layer by layer, knowing I can revisit and refine each piece without losing its essence. The slow, thoughtful nature of oil painting allows me to create artwork with patience and intention.
Nature is my greatest inspiration. From peaceful landscapes and changing skies to blooming flowers and quiet moments that catch my eye, I find beauty in the world around me. Every painting begins with a feeling, a memory, or a moment that deserves to be preserved on canvas.
While I work full-time as an E-commerce Manager, painting remains my creative escape—a place where I can slow down, disconnect from the fast pace of everyday life, and simply create. Every artwork is crafted during these moments of calm, making each piece deeply personal and meaningful.
